Helped a buddy put one in his house

He loves it. I wish I would have done it when I did my remodel, but I would have had to get creative with space. I did do a big shower (4x6) it's probably the one thing in my house I couldn't live without. I'd give up baths for a lifetime for a big shower.

We are just starting ours. Rip out the jetted tub, enlarge shower. Haven't decided if we enclose it all in one or not.

We would use larger tile (12x24 at least) & maybe a drop in tub w/ platform (easier for short old people to get in).

Without a wall between the shower & tub, both areas can share floor space and be bigger than it they are separate.
