Bronco had no problems producing winning seasons because he played super easy schedules nearly every year (his avg SOS was 65th) and it's not any different this year. Currently UVa has played the 72nd rated SOS, while BYU has played the 25th rated SOS. UVa's schedule will only get easier too as they face a steady stream of really weak teams like UNC (1-5), BC (2-4), Pitt (2-4) and GT (3-1 now but will likely be 3-4 when they play UVa) before finishing with 3 teams that should be above .500 (GT, Louisville, Miami and VT). He will likely win the next 4 and then close out with blowout losses in the last 3 games.
Thanks to a senior returning starting QB and an easy schedule he will likely win 7 or 8 games, as usual. One difference though with BRonco now being at UVa is that I think a season like this year will be a high-water mark for him, sort of like Mike London's 2nd year at UVa in 2011 when he won 8 games. I don't think it's something he can churn out every year like he did at BYU because he can't guarantee he'll play an easy schedule every year or have a returning senior, experienced QB every year (last year they played the 44th SOS with a 1st yr starting QB). There will be years where the ACC is a little down over all and some like last year where they have a lot of really good teams (11 of 14 teams went bowling and 5 finished ranked).
