My wife used to hang out with some friends who would do "girls weekends"

occasionally. It was always something like going to a casino or horse track. My wife would go, but then come home while the rest got hotel rooms since she was sober enough to drive. It was fun for her to blow off steam for a night. If she'd wanted to stay at the hotel, it wouldn't have bothered me.
