Why no talk about the Mountain time zone helps add more slots for TV inventory?
If you have a network and other partners like ESPN and FOX, wouldn't it be an advantage to add another time zone so games can be more staggered to fill up time slots in TV schedules? This where the geography argument actually helps vs. hurts BYU in my opinion.
It feels like people aren't looking at the whole picture when they get hung up on travel and distance with the geography thing. ESPN and FOX don't care about that but they do care if they can squeeze another prime game in late in the day on Saturday for example.
