Was the wealth transfer from boomers always going to be a recession?
With the wealthiest generation retired doesn't that mean they will be withdrawing from their 401ks to live? Since the Boomers are such a large portion of the population won't this be a stock demand decrease and supply increase to the economy overall? I know that is a simplified way to look at it but I feel like the market could have a rough couple of decades as far as growth. But the people who keep buying will end up with the treasure even if it is a rough 15-20 years growth wise.

Is there anyone who has discussed this or talked about this subject?

Notice this is not politics.
