Thanks for making the point. Each one of those kids signed the honor code, they

just didn’t think it would be enforced. Also, young kids away from home for the first time sometimes do things that are maybe out of character for what even they thought for themselves. And that’s not just non-members, I know several good LDS kids that got on the wrong track, even while at BYU. Which is why you need a strong locker room culture. You build around one and dones and portal players, you will eventually have problems under the spotlight at BYU.
