We should all be big tent BYU fans and welcome any and all bandwagon types.

Example: one of my best friends is a convert to the Church, attended SMU, Yale, and UW; but 3 of his kids have or will attend BYU. He might be a large donor and supporter if we (I) cultivate the seed of his BYU fandom. So I remind him regularly that he is now a BYU fan.
