Situation with my daughter - what would you do?
My daughter is 19, just awesome. Also a beautiful girl and does some modeling so her picture is "out there" in the public a bit and she gets pretty regularly hit on by lots of guys, including plenty in their 40's +.

She's a college student and has a part-time job at a well known clothing company. Last night a guy called at 7:55 pm, 5 minutes before closing, and asked if she was working, specifically using her first and last name. Well, she doesn't give out her full name to customers of course, so this was a red flag. Unfortunately, the shift lead actually told the guy that yes, my daughter was there, and the guy then hung up. The shift manager then went and told my daughter that a "middle age" sounding guy had called and asked if she was working, my daughter, being sensible, said "you didnt tell him I was right?" and the shift manager said actually yes she had.

This then precipitated an argument between my daughter and the shift manager about the potential safety issue and the shift manager saying "I dont worry about my safety here, and you shouldnt either." Dumb thing to say to a 19 year girl who has had some creepy guys say things in the past. My daughter was worried since some guy, middle age sounding and somehow knowing her full name, knew she was supposed to be getting off work and would be walking to her car soon. My daughter had a further argument with the shift manager when she said she wanted to see the caller ID to see if she recognized the caller, and the shift manager said no....but after some arguing, she ultimately let my daughter see it which my daughter wisely took a picture of. (meaning my daughter took a picture of the caller ID at work with the guys name and number shown)

So....now we have the name of the guy who called, and his phone number. I googled him and the name and number on the caller ID at the store match what comes up with a quick google search and also those info sites online say he is married and gives a name of his spouse. He comes up as an approximately 40 year old guy in Scottsdale, which is where we are. My daughter doesnt recognize the name, neither do my wife and I.

So what would you do? Think its weird that this guy somehow, no idea how, knows our daughters full name and for some reason called the store but do nothing else other that sit on this info? Call him and ask why he was calling and asking for my daughter? Not sure what to do but hey, its my daughter and a dad wants to make sure his kids are safe....
