Our lack of backcourt length makes it tougher to go over screens
Even though Kieta is a nice shot blocker, he's only 6'8" so his lack of length makes it tougher for him to guard rim runners and hold off the dribblers. Fouss cannot defend the paint against rim runners and dribblers at all.

Physically we aren't really capable of going over screens at a high level. Going under, like we have been doing all season, was the best play given our personnel. But there will be those odd nights where teams shoot the lights out.

From my chair, going under was the only play we had. Hats off to Bama for making us pay.

A little more length and athleticism in the backcourt coupled with more size in the paint gives this team more defensive options next season.
