I think the point you are making is that we need guys with high upside - maybe, significantly higher upside than we have thought about in the past. I don't disagree with that sentiment, but we can go 10 or 11 deep because we also have some guys that bought into the system and got better over multiple years. Baylor has a lot of talent on the roster - they're not going further in the Big Dance.

Mag was a good portal pickup, but how many of us expected that he would become the player for BYU that he has this year? His previous offensive stats didn't suggest that on the offensive end, for sure.

I have no doubt we'll have good looks at high-level players, but the culture fit and the roster fit will have to be there for BYU to pull the trigger, I think.
