& changed his mind based on the pleadings of the players in Trey's behalf.
Yeah, sounds like a terrible guy. A terrible guy who brought in Trey to BYU & gave him an opportunity — where the previous HC did not.
We all witnessed enough to know that Trey had some growing up to do. I think he'd be the first to admit that.
At the end of the day, Pope's end responsibility as HC is to win games. If a player gets benched because he's not helping in that cause... throwing a tantrum in the middle of a game over it WILL get you disciplined hard ANYWHERE in the D1 ranks.
