This seems closer to a unrestricted free market. Less corruption.

I don't like that public universities will use tax dollars to pay student athletes.

Mid major schools that can get state funding, but don't have strong NIL will benefit the most from this. Blue bloods NIL and school funds are more fungible.

What am I missing?

You're right, 888. It is a CAP, not a FLOOR. $20.5 MM maximum in 2025-2026.
