specifying that part that went for the car and separating out taxes etc. You still wrote a check for $8800. I think most people would say they paid $8800 for the car. Not $7725.


Also, I agree with Tokolosh. I think he just assumed your $8500 was an OTD offer and you were talking past each other which is a big mistake on his part.
