So I am even more confused. The dealer said you pay 8800 OTD, but really meant
not $8800 OTD?
I mean $8800 OTD means all the buyer pays is $8800. If the buyer pays less than $8800 his OTD price was much lower.

OTD. Out The Door is the total price on the car after all taxes and fees. OP offered $8500 for the car + paying
