I work in healthcare admin. It used to be that in order to get a good job in the industry you needed an MHA from Michigan or Minnesota or a few other top programs. There are still jobs out there that require that but it’s much less important now overall. I’d probably be better off with a nursing degree and an MBA from WGU than I am with my big name MBA/MHA. I know you’re probably not looking at healthcare administration, but the point is that different industries have different requirements and you should tailor your plans to meet those requirements.
