If you are happy with your employer and are looking to bolster your chances for
Internal promotion, then the exec MBA is a fine choice even if it is from a lower tier school. Especially if your employer pays for all/some of it.
If you are looking to hit the job market with a freshly minted MBA, then an exec program from a lower tier school is not going to help much.
