If you think my posting history suggest hypercritical behavior then I'm not sure what to tell you.
I was really high on him through 2/3 of the season and then his play declined. Certainly injuries were a part. But ending with the stinker he gave us while completely healthy (allegedly anyway) doesn't leave a good taste in anyone's mouth.
His entire body of work at 136 passer rating is average at best. He is a solid runner, which he deserves credit for. But BYU has traditionally had a QB better than what Retzlaff played this year.
