For all the criticism that he's gotten, he's stayed the course. He hasn't let the criticism change the way he does things on a fundamental level. This year he made me rethink a lot about whether or not he has a vision for the program, and I think he does. He may not be the best x's and o's or technical strategy type of guy but I think he's finally showed what his vision is. He has attracted some good coaches and some great players not necessarily the players that we expected him to but players who, if they buy into the the vision are good enough every year to compete for a big twelve title, and that's all you could really ask for.
Now, the difference between Utah and BYU have become even more dramatic with Utah, having some problems with their vision and their leadership, we are getting some of their best players. I think this is a great time right now to be a Cougar.
