until things unraveled late in the year. That was my freshman year. My grandpa would take the UTA bus from Bountiful to go to the games with me. He stopped coming to the games when I missed the next 2 years as a missionary and the 1992 season on an internship in Japan. Other than 1 more season in Japan and 2 living in the NYC area I have attended the vast majority or the home games since that game. Watched a few in high school in Texas when a group of ward members and the church pooled funds and bought a satellite dish to pickup the Blue and White Network and church broadcasts. I was at a game when one of those that likely helped buy that satellite dish in Texas, Dan Paxton, was recognized at a game as a mega donor. I don't remember BYU doing donor recognitions at games recently. Also knew the previous Orem Mayor, Jim Evans, through work and visiting his home for scouts, who was recognized as a mega donor at another game.
