The game was 4 days before I turned 11 and we were living in Auburn, AL where my dad was an associate business professor. When the score got really out of hand the hour was late and dad kept insisting that we turn the game off and go to bed. But I begged him to keep the game on. How right I turned out to be. I'll never forget my old man running around the family room almost pulling out his hair and yelling "I can't believe what I just saw". Scared the crap out of my mom because it was probably just after midnight and all my younger siblings had been asleep for hours.
