sawmill to cut it into planks. Let those dry for a few months/years. Once dried you'll want to run them through your jointer to square them up and planer for consistent thickness. Then run through your tablesaw twice to first create strips and then squares. Take those squares and rotate so the endgrain faces up. Now you'll want to glue them up in a grid pattern. Allow glue to dry and send through your planer again (make sure you use a spiral head on the planer, wouldn't want any chip out) and finally through your drum sander. Now you can route out some handles and install some rubber feet. Oil the board with mineral oil or basically any other type of wood oil and you're good to go.
If it's too much of a hassle for you, I'd recommend sticking to kale.
