That said, there's much more to this equation than just the laptop. Company-mandated security settings, programs, access and other factors I'm likely unaware of factored in to those decisions. Some folks needed Macs due to the marketing designs and such they worked on. But the company used Google everything and that caused some issues for Mac users as well.

I had to use a Mac and have no plans to ever buy one after my experiences with it. I hope you pick what suits you best and it works out well for you
