I've been a "We don't use the TE's enough critic." But this wasn't (just) that

There was a room full of TE's, and Bowers didn't break into it in any meaningful way. Whatever the reason, I doubt that us not wanting the most effective player on the field was one of them.

He was here for a couple years, it didn't pan out. Those kids tend to leave. That's today's college football.
