Texas. This was where headquarters was, and where the growth was, and where we would end up most likely. Instead we felt inspired to take a random posting in New Jersey, which did not have many benefits over Texas. There was literally no logical sense to choose New Jersey. Made no sense, but we could not shake the feeling we got when we took the matter to the Lord.

We moved there, met some great people, and became good friends with our next door neighbors. We invited them to church, and long story short they ended up getting baptized. We also became pretty much best friends with a new convert couple during our time there.

2 months after our neighbors got baptized, they moved and our project for work ended and I was relocated to Texas. And one month after we moved, the new convert couple that became our best friends also moved. We have kept in contact with them to this day and have been there through many different familial challenges they have faced. He has been a bishop 3 different times, and served in 2 stake presidencies.

So, I believe inspiration is real. I would never mock it or question it.
