Even our second one who would sleep anywhere wouldn't sleep in that thing. My first three all napped really well in their swing, but the fourth didn't like the swing at all. He was born here in Hawaii, and I finally bought a neoprene baby carrier when he was about three months old. It was life changing. I put him in there and then walk into the ocean until the water was about up to his chest, and he would lay his head down and fall asleep almost immediately. He's almost two now, and it still works. He loves the ocean. Obviously this doesn't help most people though.
