We are currently in another wild west evolution era.

Dinosaurs like Whitt who cannot traverse the NIL landscape, (or more accurately, don't want to deal with NIL) will fall by the wayside. Others, like KY will do fine and will innovate institutional changes to the funding for the game, just like Lavell innovated the design of the game.

It truly is the Wild West. Even pro sports have salary caps, but NCAAF has no NIL caps.
