From my experience the kinds of missions that Navy Seals, Delta Force, Marine Recon, Special Forces, etc. go on all have the same inherent risk factors and relatively the same chance of severe injury or death. So why does one, and only one, of those groups have a far higher casualty rate than the others? Is it because they are going into their missions "paying tight" per se? Not the conclusion we came to.
