If the next highest is a group of 7-2 or 6-3 teams, you look at the record v.
that aggregate group.
If that's not available or the teams are still tied, you then look at strength of conference record, meaning, you look at the aggregate win-loss record of all conference opponents. BYU isn't looking great there...and could possibly miss out on the CCG despite being the highest ranked Big 12 team and having beaten KSU and KSU having beaten ISU.
