Estimated 60 million viewers Thanksgiving Day 1953 BYU vs. Utah was one of the
first national CFB broadcasts on NBC. It was unusual at that time for Utah and BYU to play in November. It was a 1 point loss for BYU, 33-32, closer than most games against Utah in that era. According to the recently published 100 Years of BYU Football or whatever it is titled.
