Get a metro pass for the subway to get around. Central Park biking is great, but will eat up a lot of time….
9/11, Brooklyn Bridge (walk one way, subway back). Clear day Empire State Building, top of the rock or when you do 9:11.
Times Square is best at night, but to be honest it is just a circus of people and congestion.

Get passes for the Hop On Hop Off bus tour. It'll take you all around the city and you can get off as long as you want
