Fouss isn't as versatile as others, but saying he can't shoot is flat wrong
Best shooting % on the team last year and hits out to midrange. Ideal is a bigger range, but Fouss can shoot.

Update/repost: Still too early take on the roster and who is going to play.

Is Mboup coming?

Maybe. They're still trying.

Tripple and Tripplet? For real?

And Trey. BYU is a 3 pt shooting team, after all.

Boskovic probably is that good. At this point, belief is Mag and Catchings are a notch up from the able Waterman/Bosko.
roseyscenario
Sep 8, 11:18pm
Hope so but that would require a big leap on O from Mag and Catchings
Mitty
Sep 8, 11:24pm
If they don't get it done, Bosko moves up. So far, intel tells us Mag and Catchings are stronger players. Things change.
roseyscenario
Sep 8, 11:32pm
But Mag isn't really a 4. He's certainly strong & explosive enough, but 6'7 & short-armed. Given his foot-speed

He obviously needs work in the low post, but the size, strength, speed, skill & experience makes him our surest bet at 4

Agreed. The other video someone posted when the commit came out had a lot of him

Yeah, I was 1 who posted that. It gave a good glimpse of his physicality & quickness but was vs much easier competition.

He's much more physical than Waterman. If he's no better than rosey's saying, he was a waste.
SinkingQuffa
Sep 9, 9:24am
How does that make sense? You say he is not good. I said he is as good as Waterman and there might be players better.

Then why do you have him ranked 12th on the team, behind 3 guys who very likely won't be in the rotation?

You are right. edited. Fouss could win the #1 for 4th year. Keba is newer to the game and learning fast. Fouss has been

Mag and Catchings. Those two can play three as well, so they'll get min there.

I think Mag was primarily a 3 in the planning before Boskovic & Mboup even signed on. And making Catchings work at the 4

If Mag and Catchings share the 3, then who among Demin, Hall, Baker, Saunders, Knell go to the bench?
roseyscenario

Catchings I'm sure wants some time playing his eventual position of PF. But it's really not a winning slot for him yet.

Your rotation is not impossible if Knell falls flat, which I doubt. But Baker will not see time at PG now that Demin &

Good analysis, and I agree, BYU under-rated. Also think top 5 in B12, and

I agree with most of that, but I don't think KY will fully run his ideal offense

KY doesn't have to "work with what he has". He's not a pauper w/ talent on team

You could be right, rosey. But I hope you're not. Cuz that rotation's defensively small & offensively has a low ceiling.
