They would schedule us, then call a week or so out and say "sorry, covid rules limit the number of surgeries, and you aren't high enough priority. We'll reschedule you for 3 weeks out". It was 6 to 9 months of that .. 3 weeks this time, 5 weeks the next time, etc.

AND, when did finally get in, they had me drive her there, drop her off at the door, and drive away. They literally had someone come over to my side, drivers side, and stand next to my door so I couldn't open the door! Sort of a pseudo security guy.

Then to pick her up, they called and said "less than 60 minutes, come park in the parking lot, and we'll call you again as we bring her out!"

I know it's just a Tuesday at the office for them, but it does feel SO MUCH of medical treatment is now very impersonal, rude, cold.

And they NEVER seem to care at all about your time ... you can wait for forever, but if you are 5 minutes late you get a lecture and a fine!
