And if you are worried about paying for the out of pocket expenses, then keep an
amount equal to your deductible (which is $3400 in my case) and invest the rest. What's interesting to me is that I find even the amount that is NOT being invested has been drawing a small amount if interest meaning that Fidelity must be doing something to invest the money even though it's not being tabbed as "invested" by me.
