HSA is only allowed with a high deductible plan, but it's your money forever
unlike an FSA, which is basically pre-paying your out of pocket expenses and if you don't use it, you lose it (besides the amount of your own money that they allow you to keep or roll over). I am NOT a fan of FSA. IMO FSA should be disbanded. HSA can be extremely beneficial, especially for a healthy family. Look into what the Out of pocket max is and what your deductible would be. Once you have that amount in the HSA, any health care expenses won't affect your take home pay at all.
