If I do the HSA, the better of the health plan deductibles double or triple. I really like the idea of the HSA, I get to keep it even if I leave the company. I'm just not excited about the Health plan deductable.

I did the math and at every level of medical expense HDHP was cheaper than PPO

Ditto. It didn’t come close to the cost of the low deductible PPO, unless we max out the deductible, which we never do.

I use my HSA as another retirement vehicle. It’s invested now and will continue to grow until I need it for healthcare

In my experience the FSA funds you get upfront, then they kind of retroactively take it out of your check.
