This will be a great opportunity to do a lot of good in the world. It will also be a huge economic boost for the area. Even though there won't be a University Health system, there will be a lot of research. I imagine private practice, IHC, and the University of Utah Hospital System may also build more facilities nearby. I am completely ignorant as to the process of how residency opportunities will work but I think there will likely be a ton of collaboration with IHC and the UU. I think a lot of people locally and globally will benefit. It is truly exciting!
