We swap homes at times or use points to stay at other properties.
We get points when people stay at our place while we are away. We have done 19 exchanges in 6 years.
We do several weeks at Lake Powell, family cabin, family reunion each year. While we are gone people stay at our house and we get points to use on other properties. We have done 5 simultaneous exchanges ranging from a week to a month. I have about 5,000 points right now which is roughly equal to $5,000 or 20 nights at a 4 or 5 bedroom home. I get 290 points a night for my house.
