There are several lawsuits coursing their way through the courts. Unless the ACC and Clemson/FSU settle (given the animus, that is less likely than more), it will be a few years before the matter is resolved.

The PAC 2 has until August 1, 2026 to add at least 6 schools otherwise the conference ceases to exist.

If OSU and Wazzu wait too long, they may find that the only schools interested will be those in the ASUN-WAC.
