Sure. Employers can do whatever they want. They can fire everybody, cut pay,
eliminate benefits, change job descriptions, etc.
But doing all of those things doesn’t foster a positive working relationship with employees and will result in those empires looking for a new job more often than not.
Employers need workers to stay in business.
