don't like the broad recommendation you gave to do this. Because we know that it is either already being handled optimally by smart thermostats, or it isn't going to help in as many circumstances as you might think. That's all.

It's called "Cool Dissipation Time" and it is defaulted to Auto. But you can change it to a specific time.

Actually it looks like the default is 30 seconds. I have mine set to Auto.
