in high humidity areas it might introduce more humidity, as the coils aren't

taking the moisture out with the A/C off and air is blowing by wet coils. I'm not in a high humidity area, so I can't tell the difference with that.

I like the air moving and getting more filtration in addition to noticing the compressor isn't firing up as often as it used to.

It's called "Cool Dissipation Time" and it is defaulted to Auto. But you can change it to a specific time.
