Another cool feature of modern thermostats

Is the auto cycling of the air in the house even when the thermostat isn’t expecting to call for air or call for heat. Allows cool spots or hot spots to get broken up and the thermostat does a better job of regulating the whole house temp consistently

It's called "Cool Dissipation Time" and it is defaulted to Auto. But you can change it to a specific time.

Actually it looks like the default is 30 seconds. I have mine set to Auto.

My ecobee doesn't do that. At least not automatically. It does have a setting to tell it to run the fan a minimum number
