and I have said repeatedly that the Jazz are not contending for at least a year or two. They definitely need more pieces and for some of the 6 recent draft picks to develop into solid players.
Don't forget that Ainge is the guy who started the build for this Boston team, and he didn't do it by doing a full tank like some here want the Jazz to do.

There are other ways to get a "star" player than drafting one. Maybe Markkanen is the Jazz's "star" player and you want
