Try not to be too literal. It was an example. Of course he's not SGA, he's more like Tatum. Check their numbers. He's not that far off. Sexton and Collins are building pieces around him.
Jazz still need a starting two-way guard and center that can extend defenses. Maybe they got that center in the draft.
Jazz are not contending this next year. They're still building. They need a couple of years at least for the young players to develop. Markkanen, Sexton, and Collins are still young enough. They're all only 26-27 yrs old. All just reaching their prime and none on exorbitant contracts even after Markkanen's extension. Jazz also have the second most FRPs to use in trades. They just have to wait a year or two while the young players develop for an aging team (ex. Suns) to decide to blow it all up and trade their youngest star (ex. Booker) to recoup some draft picks so they can rebuild.
Compare that to your Suns with KD at nearly 36, Beal at 31, Nurkic at 30, Allen at 29 and Booker at 28. The Suns bench is filled with filler depth. The future has been traded away. You think the Suns are on a better path to contending?
