and maybe playing less is just a result of OKC having better players. He might not be a good fit with this current OKC
team but his stats don't show that he had a bad year. His 3pt shooting is not great for sure, but it has improved year over year.
IMO, the Bulls will end up on the better side of this trade especially if they can extend Giddey on a lower number than he might have gotten otherwise.

Was he bad? Looks like most of his numbers actually improved slightly. Maybe not enough for OKC to justify re-signing

Yeah, he also played 6 less minutes/game and took 4 less shots/game too. His shooting averages all improved slightly.
