I drive about an hour to all my fishing spots on the South Platte and Arkansas Rivers plus a long list of mountain reservoirs near Colorado Springs and love the fishing, the scenery and the drive. And occasionally catch something, too.

I remember fishing from a rented rowboat at Deer Creek Reservoir one early morning when I was about 10 (1970).
