cost/performance ratio too. If you want something with a 4080 in it, that's going to start at $1800-$2k, or double what an M2 Macbook air is going for.
I'll give you that Windows does have an edge in the budget sub $500 laptops - not sure how great the performance is on those PCs but they are cheaper than any Mac you can get. But a $900 Macbook Air is going to perform every bit as fast as a $900 Windows PC. A $2k Macbook pro is going to do pretty well against a $2k Gaming laptop with a GPU in everything except gaming, which macs don't seem to really be designed for anyways.
