I have a Macbook Pro (have had one for 10 years) and a mac mini, and I have 5 PCs and a few Chromebooks.
They are all easy to setup. I find no real discernible difference between them.

Dinky Macs no longer exist. The minimum you can buy new is an M2, which is very fast. As long as you get
