That personality will light a fire under some players, and conduct a high degree of loyalty. For other players, it may rub them the wrong way. I think Pope was all-in on BYU while he was here and did what he could to elevate the program. It was inevitable that some people just won't like him. He left for his dream job and I don't blame him. Everyone knew that's where he wanted to be. I appreciate what he did give us and the passion he showed while he was here. We've moved on, and in my opinion, we are in a great spot right now.
