Been there. Done that. One time? Major talk. Multiple times? Cell phone gone.
Period. And it only gets worse from there.
I'm not into this new age crap of exploring feelings and trying to reason with children who won't be reasoned with. In the real world there are much worse consequences. My daughter was raped when she was 13 because her mom insisted she have a cell phone, maintained ZERO boundaries, let alone rules, and the house of cards crashed down in my daughter when she snuck out far too many times.
